Appearance: Lilliana tends to skew towards an almost fairy tale princess way of garbing herself. She prefers frilly, billowy blouses and skirts that won't restrict movement or attract attention to her flat chest. Because of this her fashion choices seem better suited for a Renaissance Fair than a school setting, but she manages to keep it professional. Topping out at 5'9", she isn't the tallest lady around, but she manages to hold her own in a crowd. Her build is slender, but not overly so, and there's a very slight, masculine angling to her shoulders and hips, but due to her clothing preferences it's not too noticeable. Her hair is a light violet and she wears it long, the sweeping locks reaching the small of her back. She doesn't style it much besides trimming her bangs so they frame her face. Her facial features are rather feminine, with high cheeks and dainty lips, topped off with a pair of brilliant blue eyes.
Personality: On the surface, Lilliana is a rather docile and gentle individual. She strives to treat everyone with the respect they deserve, big or small. Due to her history, she tries very hard not to discriminate or indulge in any prejudices. Happy to help those in need, she's a good listener and does her best to offer advice if someone seems lost. They say patience is a virtue and it's something she works towards fiercely, doing her utmost to not get too upset when things don't go her way. Nurturing is in her nature and she simply wants to take care of and help all those she can. However, despite this sweet exterior she shows others, she does have some pretty deep flaws. While she goes out of her way to help others, she often doesn't accept the same kindness if it's extended to her. She tends to internalize her issues rather than talk them out, and is much too self-conscious to feel comfortable in opening up to other people. Secrets are something she keeps out of habit, and it's unlikely she's going to shake that any time soon. In a way she's almost afraid to let people close, lest they discover certain things about her and no longer wish to be in her presence.
Magic: In general, Lilliana is a self-taught in many realms of magic, but for the most part she specializes in summoning. While her full-time summoning tends to be limited to her one companion spirit, she has made it a pastime over the years to summon other things and strike up conversations with them. So while she might not be the best example for deeper magics, she's a great go-to for general spirit maintenance and diplomacy.

History:
All her life, Lilliana's been hiding. From her family, from herself. It's just something she's become accustomed to.
Born Aidan, the first son of the Haze family, to proud parents Erik and Georgia, she was the apple of their eye as a baby. It had been a tough pregnancy and when Georgia finally managed to give birth, they were so ecstatic. So from a young age she had been doted upon, and a couple years later, her sister joined the family as well. Her childhood was quaint, as she was raised in suburbia, her parents living a variation of the American Dream. Things were good, and there was very little for her to complain about beyond the standard childish whim. But as she grew, she began to realize certain things. Much more interested in her sister's toys and pastimes than the sports and fishing her father tried to get her into, Lilliana felt...odd. She tried to express her feelings on the matter, only to be told time and again that it was simply a phase she'd grow out of. So she believed them, or attempted to, bottling up her feelings lest she upset her parents more.
Time passed, and she grew into a teenager, yet she still found herself stuck in that "phase". Except she had more to deal with than just feeling awkward in her own body. Around age thirteen is when her ability for magic manifested, and it caused another divide in her family. Lilliana hadn't even been aware that magic even existed outside of storybooks at that point, and apparently the same was to be said about the rest of her family, besides her dad. Her father's grandfather had been a magician of some skill, but it apparently had soured the man's relationship with the rest of the family line and so they had been hiding it all this time. Her mother and her father fought, the former hysterical over the "abnormal" nature of her child, while the latter refused to talk about it at all.
Lilliana just kept her head down and tried to stay out of the way. Her sister, imbued with the tenacity of children, seemed to ignore it all and continued to try to cheer her up. Over the years she practiced her magic by herself, dabbling in this or that. Soon enough she had summoned herself moral support of sorts, in the form of a small companion spirit that vaguely resembled a miniature cat with wings. This creature was rather sassy at first, but over the time they spent with each other, they bonded rather well. It was this combination of comfort from her younger sister and her companion spirit that got her through her later years.
Once she had the capacity to move out, she did so, sad to leave her sister behind, but she really needed her space. As an adult, she got the freedom she had always craved, and was able to live her life as she felt fit. But society was horribly judgmental, and even though she passed relatively well, she never felt truly accepted. So when she was offered a position at Serenus Academy, she leapt at the opportunity to get away from it all.
