EVEN WITH THESE POWERS;; [mai]

friends are a bit of a struggle for dear mai-chan. she has a hard time bringing herself to truly trust someone, yet she still manages to say yes to just about everything. she is walked over more than anything else. most of her 'friends' are just people who are using her. if she has any actual friends, they are few in number. they are such small of a number because they are normally having to clean up after mai's messes, having to defend her from bullies, and having to put up with the fake smiles she gives the world. she tries to make this up to her actual friends, though, by helping them with whatever they want. she even has random days where she will bring them cookies.

enemies come in many forms for young mai. bullies are probably the worst of her problems at the academy. she gets pushed around a lot, and her lack of motivation to stand up for herself tends to make her an easy target. when bullying gets hard enough, she will find some place to hide, normally the last stall in the bathroom. one of her sisters also goes to the academy and easily fits under this category due to the family hating the child who could not continue on with the medical magic tradition. she is also up for grabs, if anybody wishes to play her.

mai has never known what true love was like. she has not even been able to experience a crush due to never being allowed to go to school when she was younger. it will take time for her to develop any sort of strong feelings towards another person, and she might just pass it off as a feeling of friendship since it is magic for a good portion of the time until she realizes/is told what it is. on the roleplayer's personal note, age doesn't matter, nor does really anything else. if you think they could possibly fall for each other, i say go for it. ;D you'll have your hands full, though. <3
